IMAP keeps your mail on the server, allowing access from multiple devices.
POP (Receiving)

POP downloads mail to your device and may delete it from the server. Check your client settings if you use POP.

Outlook may default to an incorrect SMTP port. Ensure port 587 is selected.
Email is scanned and filtered to reduce unwanted messages, but no filtering is perfect. Always use caution with links and attachments.
You can manage your mailbox settings at Mailbox Management. Adding a recovery email address is recommended.
Webmail is available at https://webmail.beupwardly.uk/. Use your full email address as the username.
